I'm Alessandra, an Italian whose gaze often turns to the East. I'm fascinated by stories that blend destiny and passion, atmospheres suspended between myth and reality, silences that speak louder than words. I've found all of this in Chinese dramas: tales of loyalty and sacrifice, passionate characters, tormented love, the exaltation of ideals, and an aesthetic that transforms each episode into a small fresco.
My passion for dramas stems from a chance encounter, one that changes perspectives and opens up new worlds. It was 2020 when, almost by chance, I stumbled upon the drama The Wolf. I didn't yet know that watching it would be a threshold: from then on, Chinese productions have become a refuge for me, a constant discovery, a new emotional language.
This blog was born from the desire to capture the emotions these series leave in me: to recount them, process them, savor them more slowly. Red Taotie is my space to share impressions, hot thoughts, and late-night reflections born after "the last episode and then that's it." It's a place where my passion transforms into a story and where every drama becomes an open door to a different universe.
But this blog also aims to be a meeting place. A virtual table around which fans can gather, exchange opinions, enthusiasms, disappointments, theories, and tears shed in front of the screen. Because stories, when loved, become even more beautiful.
If you, too, have found yourself lost among palace intrigues, drawn swords, eloquent glances,
and whispered promises, you're in the right place.
Welcome to Red Taotie!
